Wadsworth Falls, Connecticut

Here are six photos of Wadsworth Big Falls and Wadsworth Little Falls in Connecticut's Wadsworth Falls State Park.

These photos were taken on separate occasions. Big Falls is shown with relatively low flow. Little Falls, which is often a trickle, is shown after substantial rain.

The names might be a bit confusing. Big Falls, which is 25 feet (8 meters) high, is much wider and more powerful than Little Falls, which is taller, at 40 feet (12 meters) high.

Big Falls is a short walk from the park's southwestern parking area in Middlefield. Little Falls is accessible via an easy hike of about one mile round trip from the same parking area, or one could take a longer hike from the park's main parking area in Middletown.
