Here are five photos from a hike to South Mountain in Berlin, Connecticut, via the Metacomet Trail. The first three photos are looking westward toward Meriden's Hubbard Park. The trail is described in the Hubbard Park Trail Map produced by the Meriden Land Trust.

These photos were taken on January 6, after a few inches of snow.

This hike offers outstanding views during the fall foliage season, as seen here.
